Salman revives Sher Khan for 'troubled' Sohail
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Chal mere bhai!
Salman Khan knows how to guard his folks, especially when they’re going through crisis. Just when reports of Sohail Khan’s marriage going through tumultuous weather are doing the rounds, Salman has given the nod to his younger brother to restart his pet project Sher Khan, which was pushed on the backburner three years ago.
However, the film will not mount the sets immediately given Salman’s choc-o-bloc date diary till 2017. The actor has already given the nod to his sister Alvira Agnihotri and brother Arbaaz for their line-up which includes Dabangg 3. He’s also committed to Sajid Nadiadwala for Kick 2.
It’s known that Sher Khan and Jai Ho were the two projects that Sohail had been toying with. Back in the day, he decided to start the latter because that required less pre-production time and smaller budget. After Jai Ho, Salman also pushed Sohail to bulk up for a film on Gama Pehelwan to be directed by Puneet Issar for his banner Salman Khan Films. That Gama Pehelwan failed to take off is another story.
Besides acting in Sher Khan, Salman will produce it as well.
